About

I am a ABPN board-certified psychiatrist experienced at providing both psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic care.
I attended Cornell University for my undergraduate degree in Neuroscience and Psychology and Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College for medical school. I completed my post-graduate residency training at Harvard Medical School through Cambridge Health Alliance.
In addition to medical training, I have received a certificate in psychotherapy through Boston Psychoanalytic Society. as well as training in both Ketamine-Assisted-Psychotherapy through Psychedelic Therapy Boston and Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support Institute (PSI).
I hold an academic appointment as a part-time Teaching Associate at Harvard Medical School where I supervise and teach classes to resident physicians.
Personally, I am a lover of all animals (special guest appearance by my dog, Zoey, on request), the Boston Celtics, miscellaneous reality TV, and spending time with family and friends.

Areas of Expertise
-
Toxic Stress & Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder: I have extensive experience working with victims and survivors of psychologic stress injury. This is caused by ongoing or repeated trauma that threatens your sense of safety and leads to difficulty regulating your emotions and nervous system. I use both a therapeutic and biologic approach to meet you where you are in your healing journey.
-
Women's Mental Health: Care for women has been too long neglected in our field. I use therapeutic interventions and medication when necessary to support women through all stages of adulthood, specifically around preconception, fertility journeys, pregnancy, and postpartum and parenthood periods of life.
-
Team-Based High-Acuity Outpatient Work: I am passionate about working with individuals who require an out-of-the-box and unique approach to care in order to minimize potentially counterproductive and detrimental inpatient hospitalizations. This includes establishing and collaborating with other team members including therapists, case managers, mentors, and of course the most important member of the team- you.
Additionally, I am confident at treating:
- Mood Disorders (depression, bipolar disorder)
- Anxiety, Panic, Agoraphobia
- Personality Disorders
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
- Psychotic-Spectrum Illness
- Disordered Eating
- Individual struggles: issues related to identity, issues related to gender and sexuality, isolation/loneliness, self esteem, feeling "stuck", grief & loss, relationship issues, life transitions, and more. . .
